PSA: use neti pots with sterile, distilled, or boiled water. Never use them with tap water.

If you are on a budget, any squeezable neti pot type device will work. Much cheaper ✊

I don't use this brand. Have used neti, squeeze type, everything. I use a different brand that is worth every damn penny. I'm in Florida, throughout the year usually just first thing in morning, but allergy season- first thing in the morning, when I get home and possibly right before bed. I also use generic flonase. I stopped neti because it requires way too much, can't use tap, must be squeeky clean and without buying neti salt, it doesn't do much, so it's not a one and done purchase. This Simply Saline spray is perfection!

Despite its name this brand has baking soda as one of its ingredient.

Might be irritating to some sensitive people.

Neti flushes things out, this just moisturizes.

Technically, you are correct, but that's the power, it liquifies the nose goop. This flushes outstanding! Spray and suck up until it starts coming into mouth and then count to 10 and blow nose, it's almost like I ran Draino through. It's actually so much better than my ceramic Neti I still have, and used to use regularly. Try it once and see, you can find single cans to test it. Other positive points, it doesn't require careful cleaning, getting water ready and mixing salt and is easily transportable. I have at home and work and when I travel. For long drives I have in the car just in case too.

That's not a bad price in regards to the Equate brand I got from Walmart and really like. The Equate brand is like $4 something there so three of the Simply Saline cans would work out to be about the same price and even cheaper with an extra 15% off if it was the fifth S&S item in an order.

I have a sensitive nose and it's been ok for me. I can't do Flonase on a regular basis though because something in it eventually ends up really irritating my nose.

The formula for a nasal irrigation solution is equal parts non-iodized salt (kosher, pickling, or canning) and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate). Mixed in water.

So for example:
1/2 teaspoon salt (non-iodized)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda (not baking powder)
8 ounces of water

No need to buy the pre-mixed packets for a neti pot other than for convenience.
