I'm on the fence. I have a scarlet solo and I work from home, so it'd get good use... but it's still more than I feel like spending on a mic. And from what I gather, a sm7db is a better purchase but another $90 lol.

The price on this post for the SM7B is pretty good. Nothing wrong at all with the price or the mic.
I'm guessing because the market is flooded with other mics that everyone has their choice of what's available. I like the SM7B and have several others in my collection.
