Home Depot has the RIDGID 18V Brushless Cordless 7-1/4 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Miter Saw (Tool Only) on clearance. Original price is $279.

The price shows up on the Home Depot website if they have it (its shows as available at the Yonkers NY location Store #1248. I picked one up from a different location, it took about 30 minutes to find it after asking two workers who both said they don't have it in stock. I found it sitting high up on the topmost shelf in a completely different isle (close to lumber). If the website says your store has them in stock, I wouldn't bother asking the workers...

Not in stock within 100 miles for me tho. I hope we'll see some deals on 12-in miters soon

What's the thickest piece of dimensional lumber that this can cut in one pass? I think you even have to flip a 4 x 4 only has a 7 1/2 half inch blade

From the specs, it can cut 4 in thick in single pass and 8 in crosscut at 90 degrees

Their website now shows clearance pricing for your local store, so that's the price in store if you can one locate. Hint, it'll be up high likely not in the same area as the other miter saws.

When I asked about a price adjustment over the phone previously, my local store said returns are 90 days, price protection is just 30.

Easily can get around that if you buy another and then wheel it out the exit doors to the entrance to return with your earlier dated receipt.
