Disappointingly, this is not a real pendulum clock. There is a pendulum that can swing but it doesn't lead anywhere. The clock movement is actually battery-powered quartz.

how accurate of a timepiece do you think laser cut wood pendulum would be? Not to mention wear over time that would compount the inaccuracy! Who wants a clock that can't keep time?

You think people buy these models for accuracy? They're interesting mechanisms and pleasant to assemble. They also offer a globe. Please don't use it for navigation.

If I buy a clock I would want it to accompolish the main task of a.........clock! A clock on the wall with perpetually incorrect time is just dumb!
