What makes this hose "professional" ? Waters by itself ?
Save yourself money and grief and buy a rubber hose; I've been through 3-4 of these "professionals" crap and finally got a rubber hose, no permanent kinks, and easy to spool... perfection.

Tried this, but their hoses have aluminum fittings, which will corrode/galvanize/fuse with your brass water spicket and any brass nozzles you attach. Can be a big problem to remove.

The description says and shows "Heavy Duty Brass crush-proof, leak-proof hose couplings". I guess they're usually brass plated aluminum? Still an issue?

It says "Lifetime Replacement Guarantee". Generally been pretty happy with Sam's customer service.

As a farmer, "Professional" or "Commercial" on a hose is one that has a lifetime warranty or at LEAST 3/4" diameter. This hose has neither. It's a cheap and long hose. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either.

Be careful, often "professional" can mean it's basically disposable. That's counterintuitive, but certain things "pros" realize just won't last or it's not worth buying something on the expensive side that's just going to get stolen, run over, broken, etc.

You can usually tell just by holding a product if it's really meant to last, and of course generally you'll pay for that longevity. I wish I had bought more craftsman rubber hoses when I got my 100', but unless that's run over by a mower, it will probably outlast me. I don't think you could even buy a thermoplastic hose that would have the same longevity.

TLDR, don't buy this expecting what most people would consider "professional", buy it expecting a cheapish hose that will probably only last a season or 2.

I thought the same thing… but for the past two months my Costco hasn't had any hoses or nozzles. They got Tommy Bahamas chairs everywhere but not a damn hose.

Yes it is, so many idiots in this thread that dont actually own this hose or have anything worthwhile to offer. I have 2 of these hoses and they are very good. Much better than hoses from Costco at a similar price. I strongly recommend this hose.

Yes, bought 3 craftsman rubber hose over 35y ago and use them daily, only thing I don't know if I can get them replaced if I was to have a defect or mishap anymore since Sears has disappeared, I remember when I bought them they were guaranteed for life even if you ran over them with a lawnmower, I did have one the threads Started leaking, Sears replaced 10y later no questions asked.

I just bought some home depot 100 ft lifetime hoses. I do have some craftsman hoses that need replaced but I have been unable to find a way to get them replaced since sears closed up. I have replaced them at sears many times over the years...
