Don't order from amazon. The glue comes very thick, aged, old. I spent $80 for a project, needed a lot of this particular glue, and got glue that is almost unusable, so thick, it partially dried inside. Every freaking tube of it.

Order from your local hobby store, get new stock.

Look at me, I thought I am gonna save money but got UNUSABLE product that you CANNOT return. Ask me how much I saved.

I hope you read this and got your money back...

This item is non-returnable due to its composition that makes it regulated for transportation, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement.

It's a different kind of glue. More of a flexible bond, cures to a thick rubbery texture a lot thicker than krazy glue and firmer than silicone. Its a bit like Shoe Goo if you have used that. Useful for rubber, fabrics, that kind of thing. I patched a tiny tear in my puffer jacket that was leaking feathers the other day.

what's the best way to store these things after opening? I always stuggle on that part...where it becomes hard to re-use the tube.

It's a great adhesive, but work with it outside if possible, and don't use it on anything you eat / drink from ... very cancer-causing.
Cancer causing? You have a credible citation for that? most solvent based polymers are not dangerous after fully curing.

How does this compare to JB Weld or Krazy glue?
If you mean jb weld 2 part epoxy, that will be harder, stronger and cures faster. Krazy glue is cyanoacrylate and is a very brittle glue with different properties. This deal is more like RTV and is more rubbery when cured

Yeah, that shit is liquid gold. If it's going to get wet use their water weld.

Pro tip: when mixing any of their products use the snake technique like you did as a kid playing with playdough. Roll a snake in between your hands, then ball it back up. Repeat 4 or 5 times (or more) until it turns warm.
Most jb welds are liquid epoxies (syrup consistency) and you would not be able to roll them like that.

oh, this glue isn't for items that need to bear some weight, like a broken lever or so. perhaps i need like a gorilla glue type of glue.
Your best bet would be a 2 part epoxy designed for the materials. Generally however it is very hard to bond small surface area high force items like a broken level. Good luck.

I use this stuff on falling apart old sneakers for around the yard. Flexible, waterproof, fairly good adhesion but doesn't last more than a few years. 3.97 at walmart

To be fair that I've had that happen at b&m as well. Was gorilla glues version, it can thicken even with the foil seal which is amazing.

I order this regularly on Amazon. About 2-3 times a month at least. Never had an issue with quality.
What the heck to do you use that much glue for...? Awfully curious Smilie @PurpleGorilla1307

That's all well if you plan on using the glue right away. I didn't need it until the return window had passed. When I went to use it, it was like rubber and wouldn't come out of the tube.
Ditto old . Won't even come out tube

This is also good if you have to replace a battery in a cell phone, and need to glue the halves of the phone back together. Will still come apart later if heat is used.

jb weld has a whole line of putty epoxies, here's one example I recently tried with good success on a chrome plated brass p-trap

I've ordered an non returnable item from Amazon recently. Went to chat with customer service and promptly refunded me anyways. No hassle. You should at least try.

You're complaining that a $2 general adhesive doesn't last more than a few years?
