Btw if you happen to have Amazon Alexas all over the house, or similar, they can also play white, pink, brown(,etc) noise as well. Literally, just ask.

You also can't use your phone while it's on. We use one when we travel for hotel noises, snoring, for our kids when they sleep.. so they keep sleeping, etc.
Plus, you can put these where they're needed, not just where you are/where the outlet is.
