I would just not buy a pc right now. I only bought due to price after factoring in the discounts and cash back Smilie

Pretty good deal even has the 14th gen i9. How hard would it be to upgrade the storage? 1TB is small these days.
Not hard at all just need to remove the side cover

Looking forward to hearing how your ram performs — hopefully at 5600! I'm waiting for my second SSD to show up so I can start setting up. Won't come until Thursday though, just as I fly out of town!

Has anyone had their cashback confirmed? I'm also getting the "Dell did not provide cashback for your purchase" message. The shopping session was confirmed within an hour of placing the order, and it was showing the 15% until today. Now it's $0.

Ah heck, mine had been saying pending until this afternoon. Now it says they didn't confirm.

So they (Dell?) have basically just stolen $350 from each of us at this point? They clearly tracked the purchases..The receipt times will coincide with the shopping trip timestamps...I assume everyone else used 'pristine' browsers without any ad / tracker blocking, as I did...

I assume the onus is on the cash back site, not Dell as they didn't advertise or in any way validate the claims of the cash back site. I sent a support email, but I'm not super hopeful. These cash back sites are a half-scam based off of referral commissions anyways.

I had the same issue with 2 other desktop purchases, also from Dell (through the same cashback site). I will be returning those, but I want to keep this one. I have not had issues getting the cashback in the past (with any other purchase, through the same cashback site, apart from these 3), so I hope the support tickets will get resolved eventually.

I bought this same ram, installed no issue and recognized it but just realized it is running at 5200 mhz and not 5600mhz which I believe the board supports. How do you change this?

Ah, Thx for the feedback... I'll get to try Thursday but expect to have the same result. It's probably an OK trade-off.
