Does light mean it's more transparent or the more opaque, making your skin look much more lighter than it should/is?

FYI
I ordered this product when it was at a low price. I ordered two of them. One was expired and the other had the expiration date cut off the top and they put a fake "stamp date" on it. It was obviously spoiled and the makeup separated...so gross. I returned it but it was a hassle.
