It does not redeem via Steam, however the Ubisoft Connect Launcher does work on Steam Deck so it's still playable there.

The code is only good for the PC version not console. But it's still on sale for 25 on console

I really liked the trial they offered a couple of weeks ago but definitely not at full price or 30$. That's not indicative of the quality of the game (it may very well be worth that price) but more so that Ubisoft games drop like crazy only after a few months so it wouldnt be wise to purchase at a high price. At this price point, it's worth it to me. The Ubisoft launcher works well on ROG Ally btw.

I have a feeling that this may be on XGP in the next 12 months. Possibly around end of 2024 or early 2025.

Beware, this is UBISOFT, they are known to remove games from customer library after purchase if they no longer want to support the game. Example: the crew. Buyer discretion advised.
