I am now thinking about canceling the order. I don't want to be stuck with this tablet at the original price if tradein value is not honored. 14 days return window is too short

Thanks I ordered this one. It looks like it will be accepted.

I'm looking at 80 for the iPad off eBay. Plus 15 tax on the google store. 95 total.

40 bucks back with google one membership and 8 bucks back with a cash back site.

Out of pocket around 55 bucks.
What about lack of touch ID?

Heh, I have a couple of those here in a box somewhere, can't remember exactly how long ago that deal was, might've been in the fw days! Didn't they run windows? Gonna have to find it now 😂
>Didn't they run windows?

It ran WebOS, it had one of best looking UI with a gesture navigation that was way ahead of the competition. And now it's barley rememberd.... /sobs

Former HPTP owner here, I finally tossed mine last year after the battery started swelling, though I stopped using it ages ago.

Anyway, it ran WebOS which primarily adopted by Palm. If you recall, there was that guy that managed to get the bootloader unlocked and a new recovery flashed onto it, at which point they slapped Android on it. I ran Android on mine.

Was a great tablet but man it was slow AF the last time I had tried to use it. Still was worth the $100.

LOL I think I'd rather just sell my iPad Mini than trade it in, because what on Earth are you going to do with an Android tablet? Remember folks, Google abandoned tablets years ago and when they did, developers went with it. Remember Android 3.0 Honeycomb which was tablet-only and all that jazz? Haha man Google sure did just give up on that space.

Probably a mistake, take screenshots because Google has a history of screwing up trade-in offers.
I'm up to 13 trade ins without issue.

Everyone I know hasn't had issues.

Pretty sure most of the horror stories are people trying to sneak cracks by the inspection or something at this point.

One of the phones was scratched like crazy on the back and they didn't even dispute that.

So ya sounds like squeaky wheels trying to pass bricked devices and then surprised it doesn't work out 😂

I mean most 99$ cheapo android tablets handle 95% of use cases just fine. People buying anything more are just convinced by marketing they need to upgrade ...yet shocking, Netflix and YouTube still works just fine on my kids s2 tablet Smilie

Maybe try news from sources newer then 2017....All tablets have seen demand decrease significantly, just look at apple/Samsung/qualcomms earnings and result transcript and you'll hear it direct from the companies.

so everyone has stopped prioritizing them, every vendor went from yearly releases to every few years.

Tablets are a commodity now....who buys tablets to begin with anymore?
