Negative, I've bought and picked up like 10+ Pixel phones at google stores with trade-in the past few years and they've always sent me a seperate box that I need to ship out for the trade-in.

If you happen to live near a physical Google Store, you can do the trade-in instantly in person so no delays or risks. NYC, Boston, and Mountain View.

Edit: I've personally traded in several devices (phones and watch) in Mountain View. In all instances they physically took the device and gave me credit instantly. I can't personally vouch for the other stores.

If you take pictures/videos of the item you're trading in, along w/ serial numbers, you'll have zero problems. I've traded in 10+ devices to google for various pixel 4a to 5a to 6a deals and have only had one problem, which I replied with photo evidence, and it was fixed in 2 days.

I think most people who have problems with the trade are the same folks sending in garbage and claiming they sent in something pristine. Also the average IQ in the US is double digits, so there's that too.

That benefit won't begin until the end of your FREE trial and you become a paying customer. So Google is being deceptive there.

In for one with a 6th gen ipad that I am not using much. Figured the battery could use a replacement anyways. Might as well trade it for bigger screen and more rams. 32gb to 128gb as well.
