Negative, I've bought and picked up like 10+ Pixel phones at google stores with trade-in the past few years and they've always sent me a seperate box that I need to ship out for the trade-in.

If you happen to live near a physical Google Store, you can do the trade-in instantly in person so no delays or risks. NYC, Boston, and Mountain View.

https://store.google.com/magazine...s?hl=en-US

Edit: I've personally traded in several devices (phones and watch) in Mountain View. In all instances they physically took the device and gave me credit instantly. I can't personally vouch for the other stores.

Really bad design... How would you travel with it when there is no sound coming out of the tablet, unless you carry the stand as well what a bummer.
It has built in speakers 🙄

What about MDM lock? It shows the "Hello" screen and lets you do all the setup up to the very last part where it says "Remote Management". I found it at the thrift store couple months ago and has been sitting around this whole time.

Seems like a lot of SD'er are buying it to flip... I'll watch FB marketplace get flooded Popcorn Wink
Reminds me of the pixel watches a couple months ago. People need to realize these aren't Apple devices. They don't command a high price on the resale market.

Unlikely. The company that does the trade in will likely refurbish them and resell what they can. So they need them to be unlocked, otherwise they won't give you the credit.

iPad 6th gen is easily the cheapest trade in for this deal. You can find them as low as $80, though this deal has probably cleared out most stock below $100.

Only devices that have been factory reset are eligible for trade-in.

How do they know that it's been factory reset? Can't you just manually wipe everything and make it look as though its default?

Is that really a typo? I have a 1st gen iPad Pro 9.7" from Costco on its last legs and want to give this a try, but this is how iPad Pro models were named:

Small iPad Pro: iPad Pro 9.7", 10.5", 11" (1st), 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and just yesterday 5th gen.
Large iPad Pro: iPad Pro 12.9" (1st), 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and just yesterday 7th gen.

If you look at what are the available trade-in options, the small iPad Pro only goes up to 3rd gen, 4th gen has no size in the description, while the large iPad Pro goes up to 6th gen. It sounds like if we are judging from this, the small sizes for the 1st and 2nd gen iPad Pros are excluded, but it makes no sense as they're identical except in size to the big iPad Pros that are as old.

Would you chance it and try the trade in given they might deny you and you only have 14 days to return? In reality, no one who has a well-functioning iPad of any gen should be trading it in for any sort of lagdroid tablet which are categorically junk and worthless as soon as you buy it, even one as gussied up as Google has done here. Clearly lots of us are trading in old, damaged, or soon-to-be junk here, and that's exactly what lagdroid tablets are worth
I was corrected in an earlier post. I was wrong. The 9.5" (1st Gen iPad Pro) and and 10.5" (2nd Gen iPad Pro) are not listed for trade-in.

Prob not. You can do a bypass and pretend nothing happened. But they might do a reset and see it.
