Edit: I've personally traded in several devices (phones and watch) in Mountain View. In all instances they physically took the device and gave me credit instantly. I can't personally vouch for the other stores.

But during trade-in it clearly says that either accept reduce value or get item back. Am I missing anything?

So they accepted ipad mini 5th Gen and honored 399 trade in?
Yeah
.. I'm seeing this too. What did we do wrong?

Woke up too late 😜
Dammit... Ok I'm going back to sleep now. Wake me up for the next deal!
I still have pixel 8 pro sealed in bay blue and trying to sell for just 699 and no one would even message and when I hardly get any messages it's low ballers. I tried listing it for 800 to sell for 700 but no responses. I could have just sold iphone 13 pro I traded in much quickly for a good price last year.
I feel like Google is gonna pull the price on pixel tablet to 250-299$ just before the new tablet is gonna get announced and the price of pixel tablet will fall more. It will be a hard sell for 200. I value that tablet for nothing more than 200 and even at 200 how many really want to buy that tablet vs other good android tablets
Yeah, nobody is going to give you $700 for your Pixel 8 Pro. You'd be lucky to get $500. There just isn't enough demand for those. The reason you are not getting responses to your listing are most likely due to the absurdly high $800 price. When I see such prices on items I am looking for on a local marketplace, I don't even bother initiating a conversation with the seller. I have had good luck selling stuff on FB Marketplace, CL, etc when I price my items at great prices. I wish more sellers would do that instead of listing their items at prices that are disconnected from reality.
