What I like about this bed frame (besides the discount price) is the 14" height. This makes it easy to store boxes/drawers under the bed.

I made the mistake of getting a metal be frame and at first I was happy. Then the SQUEAKS started and there a major pain in the A. Then I researched metal bed frames and how to fix squeaks and it turns out they ALL eventually will SQEUAK SQUEAK SQUEAK. If it's for temporary use or maybe in a guest room go for it but otherwise I would avoid all metal bed frames.

My metal bed doesn't squeak and I've had it for 3 years and 3 moves. You have to make sure all the bolts and nuts are tightened after fully assembling. I've had both a box spring and memory foam bed on the frame without issue. I recommend checking if you need to retighten or it may just be poor design

Thanks, but I took the metal bed to the dump. I tried every available Youtube and Home Depot suggested. I'm glad you are satisfied with your but as for me never ever again.

Squeaking aside, why is no one mentioning the fact that the middle foot on each side will likely break your toe or hurt your foot really bad if you walk too close to the frame. Most people don't expect a metal foot in the middle of a bed frame.

I have a metal bed frame that's similar to this one and I haven't had any issues with the middle foot on each side (and no squeaking issues, either).

You can cut a pool noodle to cover the frame legs in case you bump your foot on them. Did so for my grandma.

Took a chance on this but this frame is definitely noisy and probably going back. Some metal frames are better than others... my old one was dead silent its just too high with a14" mattress I bought recently.
