The printer shipped same day and arrived in two days. It took a few minutes to setup but man, what I've been missing out on. I can't compare it to anything except for my old ink jet and there is no comparison, this laser printer is extremely quick and quiet. Downfalls? It doesn't scan double sided papers from the ADF but does print double sided. It also only comes with a starter toner (as with a lot of laser printers). It says 700 pages and that could be close. I've printed about 150 pages and it shows about 80% left. I did up the printing darkness by one. It's not that I needed to but it was a little light for my preference. I printed most things directly from my phone (documents, I didn't try any pictures as I'm sure they wouldn't be impressive) but did some scanning from the ADF and testing on the computer also. I don't regret buying this printer one bit although wish it was color for that price lol! It's a solid deal and price for what you get IMO!
This is why I don't post here very often (the negativity). I searched for weeks for a replacement printer and after purchasing I feel this one is quick, good quality printing and quiet. The replacement toner is $49.00 for 1200 pages on xerox's own webpage. That's not expensive IMO.I'm sorry you feel differently than me about this but IMO it is a good printer for the price.
Xerox's printer hardware is quite solid and once you switch to a laser or LED printer, you're never going back to ink lol. We have a WorkCentre for B&W printing, scanning and copying and a separate Phaser color laser printer ($69 slick deal, couldn't say no lol and nice to have a backup printer haha).

They work well enough for our needs and have not had an issue feeding either generic toner cartridges off of Amazon so far... However, Xerox' MacOS support isn't the greatest or quickest reacting to updates. The holy grail for Apple fans is to connect your Xerox printer to wifi and use IPP (Internet Print Protocol) by IP Address. Ever since finding that out on Reddit I have not had a single print issue (Using Xerox own software on MacOS often produces pages of gibberish when printing websites and PDF files). Just a little nugget for Mac people, I'm sure Windows is less problematic with these guys.

All in all, pretty happy and love not having to deal with ink cartridges anymore!

How do you get the first time buyer $10 discount (i.e. is it sign-up or coupon code)? Thanks.

It offered it to me when I went to the website and signed up. This was on the 29th of April so unless it's changed it simply offered it as a pop-up and it sent it to my email. It was a code 10offwkhw

This could be the worst laser printer, not mention chip-locked down toner refilling!

I hope this printer has nothing to do with Samsung printers. Does anyone know? I had very bad experience with Samsung printers. That printer division was sold by Samsung to HP and maybe someone else. I won't touch any HP printer for the Samsung heritage.
Not that I am aware of. Xerox has been in the printer buisness for a long time.

That might be a fair price but it's the fact that they locked it down that's bad; see HP

Guys, look at Staples for a printer right now. This is 199 there and you would get 100 back in Staples reward and 30 back from a ton of racks. Get a printer over 200 and use the coupon to get 50 dollars back for spending 200 plus the other rewards.

This looks like the one my wife uses for work. It's currently sitting on the kitchen floor, dead, ready to be recycled. She said it was always a POS.
Anecdotal experience.

Just know staples' other shit you would buy there is SUPER OVERPRICED to offset rewards offered, so.. that $100 is more like $50..

A laser printer with scanner at this price is a good deal. A Xerox? Its a very very good deal. People dont see Xerox much, but it is a big player in business world. Their printers are as good as it gets. Toner can cost a little more but for $60/1500 page is not that bad. I have a small business and I print only about 1000-1500 pg a year. You can see a difference between OEM toner and cheap one. Cheap toner can also damage the drum due to different viscosity / flow rate, purity, etc..
