I second that. Bought 4 of their outdoor string lights. 3 of them either had the thin wires torn by wind or does not light up anymore.

You'd have to cut the ends off and strip the plastic back and join the wires. There's only two and its just 5v, so its not at all dangerous. Just wrap everything in electrical tape tightly.

I just joined two led light sets that way last night. Note that the bulb brightness may decline and that it may have an odd effect where each LED will get progressively dimmer as it gets further from the power source.

Additionally, the text description says "adds light to any room", so I'm wondering if these are really outdoor grade or if the marketing department just started to embellish.
