Sounds like the deal is an effective 20% off at best… you pay $40 up front, and the free entree is valued at $10 max, so in the end you'd get $50 worth of food. Not bad, but not as good as getting GCs at 20% off for the flexibility.
EDIT: Some users are now reporting that there is no $10 limit on BOGO value.

In my rush, I almost plunked down $100, thinking it was a BOGO gift card. The current deal isn't for me. I won't take someone else's deal. Enjoy!
