BE WARNED!!

This stuff contains SUCRALOSE!!

Just kidding.

Couldn't resist. ๐Ÿ˜‚
fyi for those on keto and even diabetics, the two first ingredients are dextrose and maltodextrin, both sugar, and carbs!
Unless you're eating packets by the handful, the minute amount of carbs in these won't make a difference.

Yes. It is a lot unfortunately. The point that you are making is that it is easy to drink a lot. We got a soda stream device. No more cans/bottles of soda. We just drink plain carbonated water. The household is fully off of diet and sugar sodas.
I think I'll trust the FDA over some random internet person but thanks for your comments.

Shrug. There are better options out there that aren't comprised of sugar and carbs, which is you know, the whole point of using an artificial sweetener? Why not just use cane sugar at that point? You can make the same argument. Maltodextrin also has a GI of 94. That's way above even cane sugar!

I have Type II and switched from packets of Splenda to Liquid Splenda, because the maltodextrin raised my blood sugar and Liquid Splenda doesn't have it.

I mean yeah exactly case in point. Thanks for sharing. I was getting knocked out of keto until I dropped the maltodextrin from my diet.

Is that really that much? I drink about 18 oz of coffee with 2 splenda packets every morning. Then I'll have at least 3 or 4 glasses (~14 oz) of flavored carbonated water. I have a kegerator so I always keep carbonated water on tap so I'll add Pepsi Zero, Diet Mt Dew, Mio, etc to it. All of those have sucralose. So I'm drinking probably around 64 oz of sucralose sweetened beverages a day. I also add it to my cereal/oatmeal.

So you are saying this deal is a month supply for you and you see nothing wrong ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿง

I didn't say that. If I use 2 in my coffee and 2 in my cereal, that's 4 a day so 2000 would last 500 days.

Do not, my friends, become addicted to water!

My dad drank a gallon a day in the 80s and 90s, but held down a good job and put 2 kids through college. It's catching up with him now in his mid-70sโ€ฆhearing loss, limited shoulder mobility, inability to climb 5 flights of stairs. It's sad to see.

His father before him served in the South Pacific and saw so much water everywhere, he vowed to never touch the stuff after he was discharged. He would put it in his bourbon, though. His wife never knewโ€ฆand he died young from Alzheimer's. Not sure if that was from water or antiperspirant, though.

Yes, trust the Scienceโ„ข. It's a good thing the FDA has never made a mistake. They've definitely never approved drugs and then had to pull them. And they're definitely not a corrupt organization with corporate interests. Personally, I love the government and will believe whatever they tell me.

So show me the research that says how much Splenda I'm consuming is bad.

I'm probably the "worst" one here because I easily use 10-15 packets a day and have been using Splenda for a couple decades now. It helped me to lose over 100 pounds and it's been a great tool at helping me stay at a healthy weight. I go to the doctor regularly and all my health markers are excellent for a 47 year old man.

I find it sad and ironic how many people there are who believe artificial sweeteners are bad for you when our obesity epidemic has exploded out of control and nobody understands how calories work.

Science may rule against me one day, but there's no evidence of that happening now.

I find it sad and ironic that people who ingest copious amounts of chemicals somehow think they're healthy. Oh you had your annual checkup and you don't have any large growths? You must be healthy! As far as losing weight, you can do that without harmful substances. It's called self control.

What makes you think I'm not healthy? You're 100% sure that I'm growing cancer inside me? Is it already too late for me?

Oh no!

Link doesn't work. Is this it?Code:https://www.webmd.com/digestive-d...-gut-study This was posted after -Code:https://www.webmd.com/diet/what-t...-sucralose I'll still eat Splenda until more conclusive studies come out.
Exactly! Few people on the internet seem to understand how science works - one study, or even a number of studies, don't "prove" anything, despite how sensationalistic 'science journalists' might word their scaremongering articles to generate page clicks - history is filled with cases where multiple studies that "proved" something were later invalidated by additional studies.
