Yes it's an excellent value. I bought mine 1.5 years ago at this exact price only to find out it dropped to $1145 2 days later. I took a gamble with further price drop and lost out on the 30-day price match guarantee 🤣. I recently lucked out when I bought a $200 certified SA-SW5 only to find out it is DOA and they replaced it with a brand new sealed unit. Overall very satisfied with no dropout issues. Just make sure it's not next to your router. The system is great but does not get very loud. The boominess of just the speakers alone depends on the movie's audio quality but a sub will definitely resolve this issue. With a little patience, you'll get what you want.

So I am a long time member of slickdeals but I haven't been on it much over the last several years. I have never heard of Greentoe. It looks like it's a name your price site. I have seen the ht-a9 priced even a little lower before. Are you saying I won't get a lower price if I submit that? They say they only deal with certified resellers. Is that the same as authorized dealers? I'd be worried about warranty issues.

If you aren't planning to buy the subwoofer that goes with this (SA-SW3 or SA-SW5), get the Q990c. If you're willing to spring for a subwoofer, it's hard to beat the sound of discrete speakers and if you have a Sony TV, the integration with this is pretty good.
