The offer is still alive. At this time premium over spot is only about $40.

I show $53.19 on kitco which is the most accurate. I assume your spot price is coming from apmex or other gold retailer that inflates their stated spot price to make their premium look less harsh?

Can someone explain why people buy these? It's not like you a consumer can get anywhere near the spot price. Even large jewelers don't get close to spot for their own use. Thinking you're going to get even within 10% of the spot price is not realistic.

I am also very keen to know why buying this is beneficial? Lets assume that spot gold price go up 10% in next 2 months. Then exactly how much profit can I get by selling these?
Secondly, where does one sell these?

But if you wanted to sell it today, how much would you actually get. I understand, at face value, you're up on your investment, which is great, but if you wanted to cash out, what could you actually get? I'm legitimately curious because I've been wanting to purchase one, but am hesitant without gold prices having a major correction first.
