6800xt can out perform the 7800 (~25% higher price) in some titles. 6800 is a pretty good value still for a mid-range card. Up to you if the refurb is worth the savings vs a new card. Everyone's appetite for risk is different.

I looked at this card before and its really big so before you buy it you might want to make sure it will fit in your case.

At that price, the 6800XT is a steal. I bought my ASUS 6800XT TUF Edition new from eBay almost 2 years ago for around $612 if that means anything.
