Really good deal. Just too aggressive of a curve for me. 1500 and I'd insta buy.

I thought exact same before I bought it but the thing is 1000R curvature is amazing on this one . I had CRG9 which have 1800R curvature . With 1800 or 1500R you have to look around for edges . But with 1000R all edges are easily visible 🤷🏻 ♂️

Yes, depending on distance though. It's kind of a "use case" situation. I would be using mine more for business/hobby than gaming.

It's a really good deal at $700 though, almost hard to pass up.

I have this but it's called the G9 Neo, not just the G9. The G9 only had a 1800R and the Neo had a 1000R. Just make sure you are getting the 1000R since this title seems confusing. But please rest assured. I use my computer 8 hours/day. 1000R is perfect. HDR compatible. G-sync compatible. It's the single best investment I've ever made, and that's when it cost me $1299 with the EDU/employee discount. 1000R is the perfect curvature. 1800R is barely noticeable and practically straight across.

I've had this monitor since December of 2021 and absolutely love it. I have the 43 in version above it too. The amount of productivity you can do with these monitors insane.

is 49-inch G95C (2024) -$799 variant of the same link better than G9 - $699? - Can someone please tell me what are the main differences here?

This is pretty confusing. The Amazon page says it's the 2020 model, and it does not talk about mini-led so it does not seem like it's the Neo. I have the G95C, which is the early 2024 model and it has 2xHDMI 2.1 ports (I can do 240hz on HDMI with my 3080) and a single 1.4 Display Port. The 2024 is upgraded, but still pretty much the old CRG9. I believe it's brighter, more on par with the Neo, but the rest of the specs are similar. I'm really enjoying my screen. Even HDR looks good on this one. If this is truly the 2020 version, I'm pretty sure it's discontinued and this is a push for clearing out inventory.

I think the 699 model only has display port while the 799 adds multiple hdmi as well. I could be wrong but I looked at this late last night and think that was the difference.

BTW, deal now dead, showing 1150. The $799 deal is better anyway with the hdmi options imho. I am going to get that and add the 4 year device protection so I have 5 years of warranty. Some of these are known to get vertical lines so i think the $100 is money well spent.

Do you think $100 is worth for the diff?
Also, Do you recommend this for productivity, I am looking to buy a 2nd monitor(1st Redmi 24' monitor), and my primary purpose is productivity, I use a Macbook M3 Pro, and I have a Windows for work, So I need both side by side, I feel this can be seamless for both.
Can I also move the mouse directly from my Mac to Windows, similar to the tech present in LG?
