I chose the M2 Pro for the 120Hz ProMotion screen. I'm very sensitive to the choppy feeling of 60Hz screens like the Air has. Others say they don't feel much difference, so I think it's highly personal.

Thanks. Appreciate the feedback! I had a pro first gen with that screen and now I'm on a mini 6. Don't notice a huge difference. I think I can sell the mini 6 for $200, air upgrade is $200 vs a net cost of 450…. Idk. Need to wait and see if we get any better deals!

No offense, but, when posting iPad deals, please just put the year they came out like people do for MacBooks. People who aren't that familiar with these products don't understand what these generations really mean. Or, give us the specs.

My main reason for going with the Pro last time was the speakers and sound quality. That is still the deal for 4th Gen 11" Pro vs 5th Gen Air, Pro has 4 speakers and noticeably fuller better sound. The 120hz screen, to me, is a joke of a feature. Maybe noticeable gaming which I don't do, I don't notice any difference, kind of like the huge never ending 60hz TV debate on SD LOL. Actually it is exactly like the TV debate in that to get the best quality screen, it is going to have a higher framerate, even if that framerate itself does not benefit the viewer. There's a bunch of smaller benefits- the chip, camera, wifi are all slightly better. FaceID vs touchID also. My 3rd gen 11" Pro has better sound than any laptop, even an HP 17" with "premium" sound.

The m2 iPads also have the "hover" cursor feature for Apple Pencil, which is a very niche use case for artists, especially those who may want to use an external display. It's silly that such a simple software feature is hardware locked but it's important to note for anyone considering M1/M2 for drawing

I let this one go the first time it was at $650, and kicked myself for waiting too long. As they say, "in for one!"

The 256 model is $749. For $200 more you get the newer M4 model with OLED. Coming from Mini 2, I don't even have any use for the ipads.
