They are literally full of air to make them look fluffy while in the plastic. Once the plastic is off they delate almost immediately. There's a reason they're willing to sell them for as little as $2.50 basically.

Absolute WORST pillow out there... Was a sucker in the past and bought several of them, they all went flat as a pancake within weeks, if that!!

I actually like to buy these..once they go flat I just stack two pancakes in a pillowcase and it works great..still cheaper than most other pillows and almost all will go flat over time
