Good price for the specs, but I do not trust G series thermals. Maybe someone can chime in and say this one is good, but last G7 i7 2070 RTX I had ran so hot it would just throttle to the point where it would just turn the discrete GPU off.

In mobile form, the 4070 is not much of an upgrade over the 4060. You really need to go to a mobile 4080 for a significant performance difference but that is not "a little extra". People assume the 4070 splits the difference between the 4060 and 4080 but it's nothing close to that.

What's the consensus on thermals? In general, for the price, the MSI laptops with all their extra copper piping seem to be good. How do other dell models compare?
