I got the Dell OptiPlex 7070 SFF i7-8700 with 32gb RAM, 512GB SSD, DVD-RW and an AMD R5 430 w/Win10 Pro for $189 after shipping. There was a 4% off on Capital One Venture X offers, and there's a 15% CB offer on of the other sites that you can Rack up.

My desktop is having issues, been looking for a deal on upgrading but I would like to be able to pull out the geforce rtx 2060 and put it into something better, but the card is long. I've been using my laptop for the time being but these deals are tempting, even as an alternative to using my old dell laptop from 2016.

How many SATA ports do these have to add additional hard drives? I'm planning to use these for NAS/Home Server

I've been looking to replace my 2012 mac mini for my plex server and don't know if these 9th gen i5's are enough for 4k streaming and maybe one transcode.

This Small Form Factor case only has room for one 3.5"/2.5" HDD, so probably not enough room for more drives than that. Here's the manual with storage combinations.

Service manual showing major components:

You'd have to do some sort of hack like this if you really wanted to add more drives.

It seemed to work, but TBD! I think the Capital One will work for sure.

My 10 year old Dell XPS home PC could use an upgrade. Is there any reason one of these wouldn't be good as a home PC? No gaming...most taxing thing I would do is photo and video editing. My current PC sometimes "blacks out" for several seconds when I select a photo to edit.
I haven't seen Dell refurbished home PC's (XPS and Inspiron) in quite some time.

Perfect for that, this is more power than most non gamers need.
