At my local CA Subway, the most expensive 6" sandwiches are more than $9. I assume the OP is using this kind of (bogus) math $25-$9=$16. In reality, you are getting up to $34 of value for $25 which is substantially different from getting $25 value for $16. This still gets my upvote since you can use the GC with coupon codes like BOGOFL. If you were going to spend $25 anyway this way you get a little extra.

Be careful with these free 6" coupons. I went to 6-8 Subway's in Southern Orange County (California) on that last promo that they did in November/December 2023 timeframe (coupon expired Jan 31, 2024) and none out of the 4 coupons worked at ANY of the stores and I had to walk out without the sandwich or pay the full price! There is no real person you can get over the phone or an email to get help from Subway. The only help is one way by filling out the form on the Subway site. Good luck!
