Definitely how are these hinges. Had similar style on an ASUS and they were very unnerving when opening.

At least it's 16 GB of RAM... Worth it for everyday browsing, email and streaming. As usual screen brightness / color accuracy suffers on the low end. I agree about those hinges as a concern but for the price seems like a great deal.

Good laptop for the price. Yes the screen isn't the best, yes the processor is nothing new and isn't top of the line. But, it runs windows, web browsing and office. What else do you want for under $300. Great for a kids laptop or travel laptop. USB-c charging is great at this price.

How bad is the screen? It says IPS. But there is conflicting information in the listing about whether it is a touchscreen.

Ours doesn't arrive until Friday, but it's definitely a touchscreen.

It's an IPS touch display according to Acer's official spec list against this model/part number.

Got this laptop, it's actually really nice for the price. Looked brand new (open box?) and came with a sleeve. Screen is a matte touchscreen which surprised me, great for glare. Overall would recommend for an everyday basic laptop.

In the span of 4 months, I encountered issues with two of these laptops. The first one experienced a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) due to a driver state power failure within 30 days of purchase, so I could get a refund for it because I was still within the return window. Later, I purchased the same model again during a sale. However, the second laptop had a malfunctioning HDMI port. I sent it to SquareTrade for repair, but upon its return, I encountered another BSOD, this time related to a display failure. Fortunately, SquareTrade refunded the laptop's cost. Buying this laptop wasted so much of time
