'

All cocoa has heavy metals, it naturally absorbs it from the soil.

Can someone educate me why does their 3rd graphic ( on amazon link) shows this is a 1:1 ratio of Cacao replacement ? isn't this Cacao itself? This makes it sound like it is a powder favlor and not Cacao because of this "replacement" ?

It's very easy to misread. The graphic says 1:1 replacement for cocoa, not cacao.

Ah, thanks. I always thought it was the same thing with different spelling. Smilie

WebMD had a bunch of stuff on the benefits in moderation and not one single word about lead or heavy metals.

Yep moderation is key. Example: Don't be person to eat whole dark chocolate bar every day. For those reading this, serving size for this product is 1tbsp instead do 1-2tsp or even lower. There's new topics on this matter every other day, however those people will still agree on moderation.

I use this product and when I make a chocolate smoothie I use a teaspoon of cocoa and a teaspoon of cacao. The two taste so much better to me when I mix them than have either one by itself.

Carob. Though I don't know if it's actually better for cadmium or if it just hasn't been tested yet.
