This model at this price is one of the best bargains for a Chromebook available. People are buying these under the pretense of "gaming" (as it's listed as a gaming laptop), but it's really only for cloud gaming (unless you're more technically inclined; then you can install Steam via the Chrome store and play games locally, as well as via WINE, if you're interested), but the really cool part is you get a high resolution, high refresh rate, bright screen with a great keyboard and trackpad, a strong i5 (16 core) CPU, and 8 GB of RAM.

If you don't need touchscreen/stylus support, this is pretty much the best deal available, IMO.

I'm writing this review from one of these refurbished models I bought in the last sale around Xmas.

I agree I bought 3 in past 6 months. One for my senior mom and a neighbor too who's also a senior. This is such great value, huge bright screen with lots of real estate, can make icons bigger and chrome OS guaranteed updates for 10 years if not mistake. And low risk of virus and malware compared to windows. It's great for them.

Got one of these in Sept of 2023 and love it. The keyboard is a bit sensitive (seems to type a letter sometimes if I just think about it!), but you can't beat the speed and the display.
