    Amazon doesn't accept returns, but if it's defective, Amazon will provide a replacement or refund. Presumably if you receive a non-genuine item, you could complain and get a refund. I have not tried this, though. I've bought a few perfumes/colognes from Amazon (shipped from and sold by Amazon.com) and haven't had issues. I personally wouldn't buy from a 3rd party seller.

    Never had an issue when sold and shipped by Amazon...I will take my chances...however I strongly use this as a winter or fall perfume.

    Yes, the problem is when third party sellers chose to use amazon for sale and distribution of their products I have heard there is a good chance their stock can be mixed in with amazon stock. If the seller is less than honest, counterfeit products may be introduced. This is much more common on high dollar items that are easier to counterfeit like parfum or cosmetic products.

    If you claim to have received a counterfeit perfume, Amazon WILL refund the full purchase price no questions asked. They will also allow you to keep the perfume. Perfume MUST be sold and shipped by the Amazon, NOT ANY THIRD PARTY. This works every time. However, I have NEVER received a counterfeit perfume which was sold directly by Amazon. Every perfume I bought from the THIRD PARTY on Amazon was indeed counterfeit, without a single exception. Amazon does NOT verify the authenticity of any third party seller's products. But they do try to reasonably verify anything they actually fulfill themselves. Amazon does verify ALL perfumes with the manufacturers directly, but only if they are the ones selling it. Conclusion, NEVER buy any perfume from third parties on Amazon or eBay as you will be scammed without a chance of being refunded. However, buying from Amazon directly is literally zero risk and is easy to abuse, they don't seem to care.
