Was just about to say - got my similar tool at Dollar Tree. Sturdy and works fine. This isn't a deal.

The ones at the dollar store are just stamped 18-ish gauge metal, they aren't thick enough to have a (semi) sharpened edge [media-amazon.com] on. Now as long as you weren't planning on doing heavy scrapping it probably would not matter.

Great tool! If you want to save a dollar, the Harbor Freight one is 4.99 all the time and has some extra features (the can/paint opener is very useful) that I think make it a slightly better tool.
