Yes. The first one was was fantastic. The second one was OK. The third one was good if you can avoid all the filler (e.g. fetch quests).

This game plays like D&D, not all actiony like the games you just mentioned. You press buttons for your party to do actions, and depending on the "roll" it's successful/not. It's a break from all the FPS titles out there for sure. You can be a micromanager managing ALL the parties' actions, or not and just manage your own.

Super stoked about this game. Almost bought several times over the last couple of weeks. Before that I had never heard of it so must have been living under a rock.

BTW, oh no...this was posting 1 day early....let the rants begin Wink

Edit: oddly Heroic Launcher is trying to download a 1B file as opposed to the game installers...

Edit to the edit: seems like Epic wants to run EA to install the game first (based on my Windows PC install process. I don't think Heroic was built for this Inception level nonsense.

Thanks and I will be installing this on my Steam Deck as soon as I get home. Assuming the Steam Deck likes it because some of Epic's nonsense can ruin a game that launches just fine from Steam, GOG, or even Amazon's services....

Gameplay was hard for me to get into coming from a Elder scrolls/Fallout type of open world gaming experience. Still a fun game tho! Hardly got out of the hinterlands before Fallout 4 came out and stole my interest all those years back!

Does the PC version have controller options? I could never get into the earlier ones on PC, because they required a mouse/keyboard.

the steam listing for this game says "unsupported" on steam deck, may not like the controls

This game is Epic. It's a must have. I beat it multiple times way back in the day. It should still hold up today.

Edit: I thought this was Dragon Age Origins.
