My impression is these are just lower quality batteries. Previously not sold in the USA, but the listing is from 2019.
They probably have some different cheaper composition which makes them self-discharge faster. However, I'm not a battery expert in this area.

I looked at the (few) negative reviews and noticed the pic of these showing they are a bit shorter than standard AA's.
This may or may not affect your needs. You could add a little foil if they are too short, but I won't mess with them.
Canceled my "Buy now, think later" order.
The only cheaper AA Alkalines would be the Ofc. Depot "Free after Rewards" Duracells, if you play that game. I do. Duracells leak sometimes, but can't beat the deal, if you're good at cleaning your corroded device contacts.
