An FYI - Just because it has the word 'Run' in the style name, does not make it so. These are terrible for that with minimal cushioning and durability. You'd be better off running barefoot. For the gym/casual use, they are ok.

That's a little extreme, better off running barefoot?

What do you recommend instead of these?

It really depends on your level of experience/how much and how you run, but for <$10 more, you should grab the Pegasus styles on the front page. A shoe that's supportive, well-built and much better suited for running.

I run daily and am pretty fast, so I lean more towards styles with plates in them- Saucony Endorphin Speeds & Pros and Nike's premium styles - Zoom Fly, Alphafly, etc.

Less extreme opinion - these suck for running

I just got these and they're wildly uncomfortable. I wouldn't buy them again even at this price.

I just ordered these along with a Dri-Fit shirt (guess I'm a pickleball fan now) and shorts that were on clearance to hit free shipping. Great deal, I've had Flex Experience in the past and loved them as everyday shoes. I've never worn them for gym/running, so I'll stick with the Pegasus I just got for that.

Sizes are running out on the Pegasus shoes, but that's definitely going to be better for running. I do think that Flex is fine for 90% of people, so I appreciate you taking back the barefoot remark a bit. lol

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS!

Hey guys real review here. I bought this the last time it went on sale from sick deals. These shoes were absolutely not at all comfortable. The soul of the shoes were extremely uncomfortable to walk on or stand on. I couldn't stand on it for more than 2 to 3 minutes, please do NOT BUY THIS. I was able to return this in-store at Nike with full refund though.

For $34, I don't expect high-end running shoes. These are just a pair of shoes to go run an errand or walk the dog. And when they get too dirty to clean up, they become lawn mowing shoes.

I only buy cheap shoes around dollar 40. But trust me these are not even comfortable to run an errand or walk the dog! I would rather have an appendicitis at 3 AM then be made to wear this pair of shoes ever again!
