It's a stunning world they created. Excellent graphics and smooth gameplay. I'm not much of an RPG fan so got bored often. Lots of conversations, side quests. Plenty to do and collect. Some puzzles. Top quality game.

As far as RPGs go, it's not a great example. I love RPGs and even I got bored.

As a game, judged without fan bias, it's a 6/10 at best.
However, if you're a fan, and want to roam around in an incredibly detailed, immersive Harry Potter experience, this is it chief.
It's easily an 8/10 experience for a true fan.
Given that so much of the experience is about visuals and immersion, I would not touch this game on a console.
If you really want the proper experience for this game, play it on the best PC you can get your hands on.
Also, use a good HDR display, and a Dual Sense controller. This game supports all of the PS5 dual sense features, on PC, as long as the controller is wired.

The digital version appears to be half off right now at $35 for this with a series S or that prefer no disk

Is there really that a significant of jump over a Series X? I know a built PC has a lot more horsepower but I thought the Series X optimized games compare well. I have our X on the projector but don't want to drag a PC into the theater room.
