It's a good price but you buy these 12v 100w "RV" panels all day long at sites like signature solar dot com for $50. The free shipping is the best part of this.

I got a couple of these panels a few weeks ago and they are absolute garbage I would avoid these like the plague they're not as efficient they also don't give out the rated these compared to renorgy and signature solar panels only give out about 65 watts per hundred watt panel indirect sunlight where the signature solar and renergy panels for around 95 Watts

Solar and batteries are both going to be cheap for the next two months due to oversupply. The supply would last at least an year. But in 90 days tariffs will increase so the prices would go up which will jack up the prices. The time to buy is now, maybe even better if we wait a month more.

Do you have a source for this? Genuinely curious. Thanks.

12v isn't great for a fixed panel. The junction box is also only IP65 which isn't good enough IMO. I am sure it will work for some applications but you can usually find 2x100w ecoflow panels on ebay for about $140ish that have higher voltage and clear ratings/specs. They usually have coupons. The ecoflows have a higher conversion rate, are IP68 and are nominally more expensive. I only have a few setups under my belt at home so I am just a noob solar guy but that is my $.02.

Most of these panels are very similar. 12V is the nominal voltage - open circuit these are likely 18V or so, you can obtain 24V or higher voltages by putting them in a serial configuration.

You are probably right there. How these ratings are used and marketed is a bit confusing to me. However, big difference in quality between this and the Ecoflow I mentioned IMO. Specs are at least clear on the Ecoflow being more efficient at23% conversion over 20% for the acopower and much more robust at IP68 vs IP65 for an extra $20 a panel. Plus the brand recognition. I would say Ecoflow is largely considered a popular brand and is now carried in large consumer stores like Home Depot. I would not be confident installing these Acopowers outside to save $20 a panel. Like I said, just my $.02. I have the Ecoflows on my shed and have had no issues through many storms and seasons on the east coast.

You just sound like a shill lol. Can you actually link to these panels that are only an "extra $20"

since PgE keep raising the rates, is there any way to convert this panels into electric car charger? How many of this will need to make this possible if it is?

You need a sizable battery in between the panels and the EV and also an inverter that will output 2000W minimum for a trickle 1.44 kW L1 charge.

BS. I've had two of these on my gazebo for over a year and I can still pull MORE than the rated power. Yesterday, 5/16, my max charge power was 207 watts at one time. You need to check your configuration or other components if you're getting 65 watts.

I bought a 12v 100ah lifepo4 battery for 175.00. They accidently sent me an extra one and didn't want me to return it so I'm going to connect them together into a 24v system. The teardown reviews on youtube make it seem like it is decent. For the controller, I went with a Victron 100/30 which I got for 128.35.
I got four 100watt solar panels at 41 each.
I put together my own cables and connections, which helped the cost.
