I keep seeing more of this "ready-to-assemble" marketing gimmick of a description. Anything unassembled is technically ready to assemble.

I bought the 8 piece a month ago-ish when they were on sale for $1200. Now they're $999. I would recommend them. I have a lot of tools and diy stuff and wasn't able to fill them up. Super solid even with "regular duty" steel. The wood work top is actually pretty nice and super solid. If you don't have a large truck or trailer I highly recommend getting them delivered. They arrive on two large pallets. Not heavy but bulky. A dolly will help move them around and be prepared for lots of heavy duty boxing.

Also I feel I have to warn about things home depot ships to store or home. I've placed two large orders over the last few years. Specialty items that had to ship. Both were completely wrong when they arrived. These cabinets were one of them. When I returned them I got such a hassle in getting them reordered with a price match that I almost left. I wish I had now that they are $200 cheaper.

This is absolutely not a safe, and certainly not a gun safe. A lockable cabinet, yes, possibly fit for ammunition, but I would not store firearms in one.

The red cabinets were a Frontpage deal last month at $149, now even lower. (Current sale pricing of $129 is the lowest I've seen.)

These units tend to go on sale at around 50% off list a few times per year. It's a good deal, but if last year is any indication, you can expect to see similar pricing around black Friday, if not before then.
