Looks like Garmin dropped the minimum advertised retail price on the RTL515, again. In the past it went a bit lower, but at least for the last maybe 2 years, I believe this as low as it goes. If you ride on the road, this thing is indispensable. Oh, and don't forget that you get 150 VIP points from BTD when you buy this... which is good for $1.50 off your next order. Be sure to set up an account, of course.

Amazon and Garmin have price matched
Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank jeff34270
competition from Trek, maybe usb-c model coming out. this price maybe standard soon but I cant wait anymore.
I rarely ride on roads because I take it for granted that people are too distracted to pay attention, and unfortunately, a minority of idiots that is outright hostile to cyclists, and pretty much anyone else. You will typically find them in truck inversely proportionate to their...confidence.
People have issues.
But even for that <10% of my riding that is on streets, I appreciate the utility of this.

I skipped the clip on mirror part and paired this with my bike computer. Very happy. I would say it would only be better with the clip in mirror. Or convert to the on handlebar mirror. Always have a back up. Even if I have this and I love this, I still listen and look over my shoulder because you never know and it's just a good habit to have.
It works 99+% of the time. The radar beep non-stop during my commute to work, because I'm being pass continuously on bike lane, not the fault of the radar but it became pointless.
