If you'd rather have 2 medium compression cubes can get them for 33.90. The smalls are kind of useless for me.

Well, you don't need a vacuum. I also like that these compress to the same shape every time, but to each their own

they seem a bit pricey still.

I have considered packing cubes for travel, but wonder if i'll be happy with the cheaper ones

Thinking of the same thing. These are pricey due to name brand. I would have to get 4 mediums and 4 smalls. Mix and match for me and the spouse. $136 with taxes. Ouch. I think I will go with the cheaper ones like Tripped Travel Gear or Cipway.

Also, the Thule ones are only 100D. The other ones I mention are 210D or so.
