I have this set…. It's a good brand but the lowest end they offer. The plastic around shears broke after only a year and the lopper is single pivot, only half the cutting power of same size lopper with dual pivot. The hedge shears are the only thing I still use from this set.

Gonna swing by my local Target and see if they have this on the shelves.

It was $3 more at the store. Better to buy online and pick up at the store.

I've noticed that Target advertises different price in-store vs online /app, which I think is ridiculous. I'll double check any items and if there is a difference I'll ask to price match online and the cashier usually does so without much issue

Worth it for $25 even if they last one season. Purchased in app drive up pick up, we shall see how good their inventory system is, showed 5 left.

I've definitely noticed this as well and either online or in store price could be better. It's certainly frustrating to have to double check items online and in store to get the best deal.

Agree. These are very thin. I bent an arm of the loppers in half trying to cut a 1" branch

I also bought this set from Target about 2 months ago. I'll see how long they last. The material on the handles seem pretty cheap.

I mean the next step up with metal and dual pivots etc literally costs 30 per tool +

For most people this will do nicely. Pretty good deal for entry level but usable stuff

This 3-piece set has gone on sale at least twice a year (one of which is May) since 2020, when I paid $21. Price has slowly crept up but still a good deal and it makes FP every time.

The claimed capacity of the lopper is 1 1/2" which is a bit generous. I'd use a dual pivot, PowerGear or a (one-handed) cordless reciprocating saw with pruning blade with most branches over 3/4-1".

I have these for a year now, and they are pretty good still. Maybe cause I dont use too often, but so far it is good.

This. The better loppers have 2x or even 3x power from extra pivot points. There are also better pruners. We decided to not purchase this set and buy individuals.
