I think this is a REALLY nice acacia bench. No way would I ever pay $699 for it, yet $159 seems slick to me for a quality bench. Only a few reviews, but all are favorable. Reviewers claim this bench is sturdy and comfortable.

The listing is pretty clear about it being wood, but I've had bad experiences with assembling Hampton Bay furniture.

I'm pretty certain this bench is wood and not plastic. Maybe the reviewer reviewed a different item???
