It's extrememly practical, and if you take time to think about some of the curves, you'd probably be able to appreciate that this is more functional than form.

The bend in the handle is the natural curve of the palm. The handle is a vent as well to keep the oil from chugging. The bend up near the tip makes oil have to gently pour past a "dam" rather than come pouring quickly. This makes it easy to control pouring, and it means you can put it almost completely sideways and it will still pour at a slow rate. Even the spout offset is considered to make it able to get close to a pan before it starts pouring.

So, yeah, super practical to be this shape. If you tried to design an ideal pouring caraffe out of a monolithic piece, this is one shape that would fequently come up. If you used this, and then poured from a simple bottle, you'd see that this is a far better design.

I filled it by myself without any real issue. The only potential issue for me was that I couldn't see well that it was getting full. Used a funnel with a long stem, and that was solved.

Only Burgundy available for me(at that price). Bought one. Been needing one for a while. Haven't even opened my bottle of evoo with nothing to dispense it with.

Looks like it'll be hell to clean but I guess since it'll only be used for evoo, won't need cleaning much. Never used one so don't know though.

These weird shape goods always get me stumped. Like is this even practical? Someone might stop putting oils and decide to make it a flask or something.

The stream of water would be too narrow. Better off just getting a bigger nozzle garden watering can

I have this. You need 2 people to fill it or it makes a mess. One to hold a funnel and one to pour oil in.

Got the purple on the last deal and it's pretty nice. My mom loved it so I gave it to her.
It showed a far out ship date but arrived much faster.

Its tempting to buy the burgundy.

I got this as a gift. Pours as expected, the bottle top got sticky over time and the rubber stopper did not seal properly. As a result it leaked and got sticky on the outside. I would say this could be avoided if you cleaned it out thoroughly between fills. It is sturdy. But it's crazy that this is a sale price. Would only get if you truly need it.

"dishwasher safe"... GTF outta here. No way this bish with the tiny opening is going to get washed in a dishwasher.

I own 2 of these. They work well enough. I think I paid a couple dollars more for my 2 pack whenever I did buy it. Ones smaller then the other
