To be honest, the main appeal for most is probably a 35 cent filler to reach 5 subscriptions. It did make the FP at 2.5x the cost recently, so is also a deal too.

These don't hold up well if they happen to get wet and they get dirty very easily. The plastic varieties are far more practical (IMHO).
A generic box of 60 (or more) of the plastic varieties (all 3/4" like these) is very inexpensive (relatively speaking).

My experience has been different. I only buy Bandaid brand bandaids now after years of using off brand bandaids. The off brands just don't hold up. I personally don't like the plastic bandaids. The non plastic bandaids stick to the point of having to get my glasses to see to pry them off. Even when they get wet.
