Anyone know if it is available in the warehouse and at what price?

Also, reviews (3.9/5.0) mention the following:
- It is very noisy.
- It is very large and heavy making it difficult to move.
- Cleaning and maintenance is difficult due to the size and weight.

If these get near $100, I'll be in for one, but not before.

I've been through 4 of these in the last year and a half. I love the pellet ice, but the machine just doesn't last long term. I just returned the 4th to Costco recently and gave up on replacing it. I would get 3-6 months out of a machine before it would fail. One lost front panel button control functionality and you couldn't turn it on/off or run the cleaning cycle on it, another just died & stopped making ice, another was so noisy right out of the box that returned it, and the final one would randomly turn off and the ice would melt.

I love the look of the machine, and it works great, when it works. but for the money it wasn't worth keeping it around with all the issues we had with multiple machines.

Do most of these require plumbing? Or do you fill it yourself with water?

We're on our 4th Frigidaire ice maker. Definitely buy from Costco because you never know when it'll just suddenly stop working.

1st one suddenly started making ridiculously loud noises. It's already loud on normal operation, but it became extra loud.
2nd one some internal plastic cracked and stopped working one day
3rd one was fine but the one we got was way too big, so that had to go back since it didn't fit on our counter top

+1 for another bad experience. The control board burned out on mine. Didn't start a fire but it was smoking…

I wish houses would have drains near the refrigerator so that these would be more convenient to use. You could hook them up to house water supply with a filter and have them drain right there. I have a clear ice maker machine, and while it is hooked up to the house water, I still have to physically drain it.

Absolutely not worth it. I returned mine within 3 months. It's just a little too tall to fit under cabinets. It's loud. Worst of all, it started squeaking/squeeling at month 3.

I bought a Vevor Nugget Ice Maker in March. It's been going strong since. We use it daily. It has a 1/4" quick connect water inlet. I put in a reverse osmosis system about the same time. Combination of the ice maker and RO system has made our whole family drink a lot more water than other junk.

It's a little loud but not terrible. That's about the only complaint I have about it. It fits on the counter under our upper cabinets. Cranks out ice faster than our fridge.

I almost bought this Frigidaire one before the Vevor but read a lot of complaints about the Frigidaire.

Vevor isn't a top brand by any means but the nugget ice maker is pretty solidly built.

You can fill it yourself with water, but the way that limescale can buid up in the pump hoses internally - it can be best to use only distilled water in these things, and then do the cleaning every month to make sure they don't get blocked up with mold either.

Significantly more, but Costco has the Opal2 on sale for $130 off [costco.com].
Run don't walk from Opal ice machines. Way too problematic if you're looking for easy ice. Go to your local Sonic and grab a bag for cheap without the headache.

These things are not durable and impossible to register under warranty. A few days in we had plastic pieces breaking off the rotating piece inside.
