I heat my house with wood and split 5cord by hand with this maul. It's amazing and is no worse for wear. Very tough and light.

Love mine, bought one from HD after using a friends to split some wood. Have two different brand axe/splitters & there is no comparison. This thing made me almost look like I know what I'm doing the way it splits! Definitely worth paying a little extra for a good tool like this one.

BTW it's also $53 at Walmart right now too...

Never used this one but I have a husky one from Home Depot that is rubbish compared to the Fiskars.
