Does anyone own this? Just wondering how good this scooter is.

I believe I purchased either a gotrax or a rebadged gotrax of this same model a while back on amazon. I like that WM is honest with the max mileage stated as 12 which you would logically assume is under 'ideal conditions' (ECO MODE & 100 lb rider) so an adult man under STANDARD MODE will probably get 10 mile range. This is a small, lightweight truly portable e-scooter so this is reasonable. This is a scooter you could regularly toss in your car trunk and zip around with, for about 8 miles.

I did return mine but that was because the amazon ad stated 15-19mile range and I was too inexperienced to know that's not reasonable for a 250W, FWD battery-in stem scooter like this and I needed 15+ mile range and I didn't really need to toss it in the car regularly. Oh, it did seem like a quality scooter though. I didn't like how the frame breaks down for storage but it seemed sturdy enough and it's what you'd want if you're tossing this in your trunk. Scooters with a fixed wheelbase and collapsible steering stem are just a little too long and heavy to easily get in and out of your trunk without potentially damaging your car or scooter.

I got this exact model last week from Walmart for my son. Take this with a grain of salt because I've only had it a week. But it's a great scooter so far. I'm 6'2, 210lbs and it hits 15 mph easy. I have nothing bad to say about it other than the display is too dim for direct sunlight. I haven't tested range but I plan to get it out on the greenway tomorrow.

I disagree. As long as you're strong enough to lift this thing (it's not very heavy), no problem. It's no different than putting any other item in your car. Just pay attention to what you're doing.

Great! I just ordered this one today for my son. I hope he has the same positive experience

I received my scooter yesterday. Overall, it's a very nice scooter for the money, you can't go wrong for a beginner scooter.

I'm looking to purchase this for my 13 year old. What's the equivalent for a smaller 9 year old girl. Most of our community is about a mile from the elementary school and atleast half of the kids ride these to school but it looks fairly large for my smaller (about size of 7 year old) kid. I want her to be able to keep up speed wise but also be able to maneuver.

Bought one yesterday. Unpacked at 10pm Smilie Then everyone tried to ride it for a few mins. Not bad considering the price. Both my kids are about 1 mile from home, so 8-12 miles shouldn't be an issue

Was thinking about niu kqi2 pro, it's on sale now. But have concerns to give such powerful thing to the kids. And replacing a tire is a nightmare for sure

Great deal, matches my front page deal price after 8 months:

Well worth $22 for the 3 year warranty! They honored a warranty for me already.

Be prepared to get a flat eventually though... which is why I prefer solid tires.

Thumbs up and OP repped!

I think this is a pretty great deal, the scooter is very fun. The cruise control is a little scary until you get used to deactivating it when you want to slow down (I wish I could turn it off for the kids) and the brakes were super scary- the friction point is too intense- 100 percent braking or no braking at all. I improved the brake performance by taking the caliper apart and sanding the brake pads down with 400 grit sandpaper... it helped a lot, the stock pads are super rough and I think a big part of why the brakes grab too much when the scooter is new. They would probably improve with break in period but I needed them fixed asap for kid safety
