Please stay away from the Mirai. The hydrogen/H2 fuel costs $36/kg. The $15K fuel card they will give is good for 25K miles. It'll cost ~$180 to fill up, which is good for ~300 miles. I'm part of a telegram group of Mirai owners. Many there cannot get near to 400 miles advertised range, no matter how hard they try. People in SolCal have to deal with unreliable H2 stations. People in SF just had their only 3 local stations closed permanently.

I looked at buying a new Outlander in 2019 because they were so cheap. A well equipped model was in the low 20s. The MSRP has increased significantly in these!

CX-5 is a better deal and looks and functions much better unless you need a PHEV.

Thx for the HU.
Haven't seen a Mitsu in Chicagoland for over 10 years.
Thought they had surrendered to brands that offered 10 year warranties.

Yes, a new Eclipse GSX would be sweet and would make Mitsubishi a top dog again
If they could build a good GSX and keep the price in the 86/BRZ, Miata, base WRX, it would definitely sell, and bring them a lot of positive attention. If it would have to be priced like a Supra, M2, or TT, I'd say don't bother. I think there's still a market for a driver's car that offers more bang for the buck than the EVO did, without including every last bit of all the newest technology. I'm no market expert, but aside from a new RX-7 there aren't many new sporty cars I'd rather see than a new Eclipse GSX.

Another ugly, oversized SUV. No surprise nobody wants this. It's a shame this deal doesn't apply to the Outlander Sport, although the interior of that car looks like it hasn't changed in over 10 years.

I've had good experiences with my infiniti's (also Nissan powertrain). That said, I'm also diligent about doing scheduled maintainances on time.

Interesting comments. I bought a Telluride last year but before driving anything I had narrowed it down to that and the Outlander. Outlander got great reviews from all the car guys on YouTube and I never saw anything as negative as what I've seen here.

I honestly completely forgot about Mitsubishi until this post. I don't think I've seen one on the road for years (besides 15+ year old ones).

As there are so few Mitsubishi vehicles sold in the US, I wonder if the probable scarcity of repair parts would be a concern?

Okay, 0% is nice, but if you can afford payments large enough to pay off a new vehicle in 48 months, are you really going to choose a Mitsubishi in 2024? I'm sure they're not terrible, because I think there are actually very few truly bad cars on the market these days, but if you have your choice of anything in the price range, why the heck are you going to pick a Mitsubishi? Please explain your logic if you bought/are buying one, because I don't understand why you would pass on every other brand.
I don't understand why anyone would finance this. If you're not able to buy outright, this is too much of a car to begin with. You're just paying a jacked up retail price to cover the cost of your 0% loan. Quick comparison is last summer I purchased a 2023 Subaru Ascent Limited for $39k. A much better and bigger car from a reputable manufacturer with plenty of options and I paid cash. There are so many options in the $35-40k band that are so much better.
