If you sign up for emails at QVC, you can also get $20 off $40 plus free shipping!! My wife got the Garden Weasel, plus two of the 9 inch round baking pans she needed and the order came out to only $21.96 before tax, so she was very happy.
We already had an account there, but just used a new email to get the coupon Smilie

If you create a new account you can also use the code NEWQ10 and get $10 off a $25 order. Might be better for some that don't want to use the 20 off 40 code, if you don't need that much stuff.

It did show up yesterday, my wife ordered it and got free shipping. I uploaded screenshot as proof. They been running free shipping every Sunday for a while. I don't know if the deal will still be there next Sunday, but how much are they charging you for shipping? With the 20 off 40 coupon, even $5.99 for shipping would be a deal at this price. This is the Pro version of the Weasel and works amazingly if you have a small garden. The Bulb planter is well made as well, but I could take that or leave it as it's easy to just use a small spade for bulbs if your back can take it. The weeds however are such a pain down here in Louisiana. They pop up every week and much faster with a tool like the Weasel to walk along the row and rip them out.

I wonder what the strategy is for Sunday only free shipping? More weekend sales? Anyway, I will probably wait for next weekend too and hope its still there...

Appreciate your honest reply and thanks for sharing the receipt. I never doubted that there was free shipping over the weekend. Just frustrated on whats the logic here. Anyways ... will wait till next weekend and see if its still there.

BTW, I did see that you can use LUCKYDAY coupon if your total is above 25. I just couldnt find find anything that I really needed that was NOT at a inflated price.

I've never found these to be useful for anything -- they will loosen up soil that's not too hard, but you could do that with a shovel or a strong rake. For harder soil I would use a shovel, a hoe or a mattock. To use this "claw" cultivator takes a lot of effort to push it into hard soil and a weird twisting/pulling motion to pull it out that doesn't feel great on your body over multiple uses.

Maybe I'm missing something, and I know this is a critique of the product and not the deal, but I think the better deal is getting a product that works well. Would be interested to hear if others find these tools useful though.

I like a shovel too for a small garden. I dump some manure and soil ammendments on top. Then I dig down the depth of the shovel blade and flip it all over. That gets all the stuff worked in pretty uniformly about a foot deep into the soil.
